International Transmission Repair Terms & Work Order

YOU MUST RETURN YOUR VEHICLE TO THE SHOP FOR A FREE INSPECTION IN 7 DAYS – A FEW TRANSMISSIONS WILL HAVE A BAD CASE, Torque Converter OR VALVEBODY/TCM-Electronics.

Parts outside of the Transmission are not part of our price quote (i.e. mounts, sensors, cables, radiators, coolers, etc.). Shop is responsible for giving you your exact price before any repairs are started. 8.25% and fluid will be added to each ticket.


A parts deposit will be required once we determine which parts you need. There is a charge for towing, diagnostic work, & pulling the unit, in all cases if the shop does not do the job, & in some cases even if we do the job because of unusual circumstances such as a difficulty or unusually long tow. Promo codes & other perks apply to the original signer only, with repairs only, & providing job is not delayed more than 24 hours after payment is requested. Payment is due in full before vehicle leaves the shop. You will also always be required to pay the balance of your bill before your vehicle is picked up. We get a deposit before parts are ordered. The deposit will be subtracted from the total cost of your repair. If the case or valve body are not rebuildable price will increase, a minimum of three to six hundred dollars, often more. Vehicles left for more than 30 days will be sold. In most cases, checks, and money orders are not acceptable. Cash Money or Credit Cards made payable to “International Transmission Repair, Inc.” during banking hours when a cashier’s check can be verified is the only acceptable form of payment. If we accept your Cashier’s Check or any other check there will be a 7 banking day hold to allow check time to clear your bank before releasing the vehicle. Deposits are non-refundable. After removal teardown and inspection, the shop will then notify you of your exact damage & parts being replaced. We recommend using the fluid that is required by your vehicle manufacturer. Any damage outside the transmission requires a separate quote from the shop. Bad sensors, belts, hoses, mounts, torque converter, valve body, electronics, & cases are extra. There is no labor or parts warranty with customer-supplied parts. In most cases, our shop will not install customer-supplied used parts. If customer-supplied parts are incorrect, there will be an additional charge for the additional time used plus occupying shop space for additional time. If we help you choose a used part we do not warranty it because it is not tested & came from a junkyard. We are not responsible for your vehicle not operating properly after a Transmission fluid change. Some vehicles will never move again after a transmission fluid change if it is on the brink of malfunctioning. Transmission/Engine repairs will require removal & teardown to inspect the unit in order to determine which parts are bad so we can quote you the exact price for repair, and you understand there may be no further contact with you until the unit is pulled, torn apart, and diagnostic work is completed. Some other repairs will also require a teardown in order to determine the extent of necessary repairs. If you don’t want us to perform needed repairs there will be a charge to remove, teardown, inspect, make calls to price all the necessary parts, & any service that was rendered. Remove all valuables from your vehicle before releasing to us. The shop is not responsible for items left in the vehicle. You are responsible for having full coverage insurance on your vehicle before releasing it, for tow or repair. Any affiliate towing company nor we are responsible for damage to your vehicle. We do not carry insurance to cover towing damage, theft, vandalism, fire, or anything else that may happen to your vehicle while it’s in our possession. This is only a convenience to our customers. Transmission premium rebuilds will carry a lifetime prorated warranty. No Refunds. See complete warranty on website. Warranty is limited only to the repairs we made. Neglect or abuse, including installing any performance parts, exceeding manufacturers towing and load capacity, or tampering with the repaired component, voids warranty. Warranty does not cover consequential damage. Warranty never covers any Electrical Components. Warranty does not cover towing or car rental. You also agree not to stop payment on any credit card, debit card, or check that we, or any of our affiliates, accept from you. We will not warranty any transmission when the case, valve body/TCM are required to repair the unit and these parts are not purchased. If you decide not to have the repairs made, there will be a charge of at least six hundred to at least nine hundred dollars or more, to pay for all the work that will have already been done, towing is extra, the diagnostic time, work of pulling the unit, time spent on the phone with you, shop bay time that could have been spent on other paying customers, shop supplies, etc.


There will be an 8.25% fee plus fluid added to all repair tickets (quotes) for shop supplies, incidentals, customer services, towing supplies, etc. on each job plus a disposal fee where applicable. Our prices include tax because we pay the tax when we purchase your parts. We do not itemize parts and labor separately. We quote the complete job including parts and labor. You authorize us to send your vehicle out to other affiliate repair facilities if necessary.


I authorize this shop to accept my verbal approval of the price for the work to be performed on my vehicle. If financing is required or there are payment problems, you grant our affiliates and us permission to install GPS, pull your credit and do skip tracing. We don’t guarantee financing to anyone. Our lender’s financing is expensive and not guaranteed issue, we recommend you get your own financing. You grant us the right to drive your vehicle to ensure repairs are done properly. We are not responsible for components that break while in our possession, that we didn’t work on.


If the unit fails because you refused to purchase all the necessary parts, there will be no warranty. If there is a dispute between you and your lien holder over the right of possession of the vehicle, the vehicle will be released to the lien holder after the total bill is paid to shop. Any suits/litigation against the company must be filed & *executed in Dallas, TX. All cash payments must be made with exact change. No change is kept in the shop. Any additions, changes, or modifications to this agreement made by customer or customer’s representative will have no effect on the original verbiage of this agreement whatsoever. By authorizing this work order you are also agreeing to the lifetime warranty subscription offer for a lifetime warranty on all your transmission Repairs.


This membership begins after your first 30 days after signature and has a value of $3889. By signing this work order you accept joining the warranty program at a rate of $87.86 billed monthly which covers all transmission repairs in the future parts and labor. No money out of pocket for you. There will be a termination fee if you decide to cancel your policy $99.99. Warrantor: Atlas Warranty LLC.
Notice: Pursuant to the property code 70.01 I am obligated to pay in full for the repair/charges of my motor vehicle. In the event of any default of payment for repair, including if a check, credit card, or other forms of payment that is rejected at paying institution for any reason, no account, closed account, no funds, etc. you hereby grant us the right to repossess in accordance with local, state, & federal law. Business and Commerce Code, by any means possible, the vehicle we performed work on and charge a minimum repossession fee of $499 + skip tracing fees, and any other cost associated with repossession, & $40 daily storage or maximum legal amount.


Storage fees will start within 24 hours after any of the following: Delay of the job by you or your representative(s), completion of the job & total charges not paid, and the vehicle not picked up, deposits not paid. If money remains unpaid more than 14 days vehicle will be moved to a storage location & 2 working day notice is required to return the vehicle to shop to view or inspect the vehicle. I certify that I have read and understood this entire agreement. I understand that any opinion given to me by my sales rep is only an opinion as what could be wrong, but many other things could be my problem as well.


We give store credit NOT refunds. We do not offer refunds. This opinion is not based on any fact, and the rep is not a transmission expert to any degree. Your vehicle cannot be diagnosed over the phone. This is why we use a qualified shop. I am not using this opinion as a basis for having you make my vehicle repair. Only omit any exclusion, limitation, or any wording that’s not allowed in your jurisdiction.


Also, be informed that leaving a negative review on google place will automatically void your warranty. I certify that the signature on this page is from a person at least 18 yrs old and authorized to have work done on this vehicle. This signature authorizes this vehicle to be towed, and if applicable, the Transmission/Engine will be removed, torn apart, and diagnosed, without any further contact until the diagnostic work is completed. If you are not the owner, you certify under penalty of perjury, the owner has given you permission to sign this work order authorizing the tow, diagnostic, and repair of this vehicle. ID 81-1718792
